About Career by Gloweave
Gloweave began in Melbourne in 1944 as the Comfort Shirt and Underclothing Manufacturing Company, making military shirts and undergarments. In 1950 the business turned to designing more stylish, fashionable shirts, and in 1954 it took the name Gloweave, after the fabric of its best-selling shirt. Gloweave shirts from the 1950s onward are now held in the Museums Victoria collection. Career by Gloweave applies that shirtmaking heritage to corporate wear, with business shirts, blouses and coordinated suiting cut for everyday uniform programs.
Custom Career by Gloweave Business Shirts, Blouses, Blazers & Dresses at Supply Crew
Shirts are the core of the range. The Blake non-iron shirt is 100% cotton with a wrinkle-resistant treatment and precision-bonded taped seams, in contemporary, slim and women's fits. The Nicholson premium poplin has convertible cuffs, the Olsen is a cotton-stretch shirt with an easy-iron silk protein finish, and the Ultimate White is a women's career slim-fit shirt with a hidden modesty button. Patterned and textured shirts include the Westgarth gingham, Windsor puppytooth, Bell mini check, Degraves, Fawkner and Bourke checks, Wellington chambray, Elmore dobby and the Ashton, Balmoral and Bradford oxfords. Women's tops add the Cali, Cleo and Reese v-necks and the Lola and Freya shirred-cuff styles.
For a full uniform, the Elliot collection coordinates a blazer, crop jacket, pants, 7/8 pants, pencil and longline pencil skirts, a utility pant and a short sleeve dress, while the Bronte and Claremont ranges add men's and women's blazers and crop jackets. Dresses include the Larson and Mason luxe twill styles, and pants include the Napier chinos, Georgia full-length pant, Coco 7/8 pant and Ivy elastic-back pant. Women's sizing runs wide on many styles, with the Westgarth gingham available in sizes 6 to 30.
Career by Gloweave Easy Care & Durability
For uniform programs, the most practical feature of the range is how little upkeep the shirts need. The Blake non-iron shirt is designed to stay crisp wash after wear without ironing, and many other shirts, such as the Olsen and Westgarth, carry an easy-iron finish. Shirts that hold their shape and finish through repeated laundering stay in rotation longer, which reduces replacement orders over the life of a uniform. Fabric and care details are listed on each product page.

Career by Gloweave FAQs
+ Can I get Career by Gloweave shirts with my logo?
Yes. Supply Crew supplies Career by Gloweave shirts, blouses and jackets custom branded with your logo. A small embroidered logo on the chest is the classic treatment for business shirts and blazers, and our team will recommend the best size and placement for each style and fabric.
+ What Career by Gloweave products does Supply Crew offer?
Supply Crew stocks over 80 Career by Gloweave styles: men's and women's business shirts in non-iron, poplin, stretch, oxford, check, gingham and chambray fabrics, women's blouses and v-neck tops, blazers and crop jackets, pencil skirts, pants and chinos, and luxe twill and short sleeve dresses.
+ What is the difference between non-iron and easy-iron shirts?
A non-iron shirt, such as the Career by Gloweave Blake, has a wrinkle-resistant treatment designed so the shirt can be worn straight from the wash without ironing. An easy-iron shirt, such as the Olsen or Westgarth, has a finish that reduces creasing and makes ironing quicker, but a light press still gives the best result. Non-iron suits teams who want the lowest upkeep; easy-iron suits those who prefer a softer cotton-rich hand.
+ What fits and sizes do Career by Gloweave shirts come in?
Men's shirts come in contemporary and slim fits, such as the Blake and Olsen, and women's shirts in career slim and contemporary fits with details like hidden modesty buttons. Women's sizing runs wide on many styles, with the Westgarth gingham available in sizes 6 to 30. Exact sizes are listed on each product page.
+ Can I build a full matching suit from Career by Gloweave?
Yes. The Elliot collection coordinates a blazer, crop jacket, pants, 7/8 pants, pencil and longline pencil skirts, a utility pant and a dress as one coordinated collection, and the Bronte and Claremont ranges add further blazers and crop jackets. Pair any of them with a Career by Gloweave shirt or blouse for a complete uniform.
+ How much do custom Career by Gloweave shirts cost?
Pricing depends on the styles you choose, the quantity per style, the branding method, and the number of logo positions and colours. Supply Crew prices every order individually, so the quickest way to an accurate figure is to submit a quote request with your styles, quantities and branding requirements.
+ Can I see an artwork proof before production?
Yes — twice over. You can Design & Create your own mockup instantly on any product page to see your logo on the product before you even request a quote. Then, once your order is confirmed, Supply Crew provides a detailed artwork proof for your approval — placement, size and finish — before production begins.
+ What is the minimum order quantity for custom Career by Gloweave uniforms?
Most Career by Gloweave styles in the Supply Crew range carry a minimum order quantity of 25 units, and selected shirts, pants and dresses, such as the Blake non-iron shirt and Larson dress, start from 20 units. The exact minimum order quantity is confirmed on each individual product page.
