About Corban & Blair
Corban & Blair was founded in Sydney in 1988 by cousins Gillian Corban and Amanda Blair, who started with exactly the product you'll find here: handmade journals and albums. Nearly four decades on, it remains a female-owned and operated Australian design business, working from its Lewisham studio and holding Certified B Corporation® status — independently assessed to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. The pair built an environmental edge in from the beginning, starting with recycled paper and pushing on to recycled leather, while supporting Australian artists, women's mentoring, education and the Indigenous Art Code along the way.
