About Nimbus

Nimbus was founded in Copenhagen in 1995 by Lars Hammer, who saw a market ready for a rethink of promotional clothing and started out designing outerwear under the name Nimbus The Jacket Company. Three decades on, the brand is still based in Copenhagen and still built on the same three words: design, quality and details. Its aim is corporate clothing that looks and wears like retail fashion — clean Scandinavian lines, considered fabrics and finishing details that make a branded jacket or polo something staff are happy to wear outside work.

Custom Nimbus Jackets, Polos, Shirts & Knitwear at Supply Crew

Outerwear is where Nimbus started, and it remains the largest part of the range: softshells, padded and quilted jackets, vests and hybrids for every season. Highlights include the Avalon down jacket with 650+ fill power duck down in a recycled polyester shell, the Yosemite shell jacket in waterproof, windproof and breathable 3-layer fabric, and the Westlake hybrid, which pairs a padded, weather-protective front with stretch sleeves and back for easy movement.

For everyday corporate wear, the Harvard polo is the flagship, in a classic buttoned placket or a v-neck version, joined by the Yale, Princeton, Clearwater, Carlington and Altavista polos and the Danbury pique tee. Shirting includes the Rochester oxford in 100% fine combed cotton and the Portland and Torrance shirts, with men's styles in modern and slim fits. Knitwear runs from the fine-gauge Brighton in v-neck, crew, quarter-zip and cardigan versions to the Ashbury, Beaufort and Richmond knits, and the range is completed by hoodies and sweatshirts such as the Brownsville, Fresno and Georgetown.

Nimbus Sustainability & Recycled Materials

Recycled and organic materials appear across the newer Nimbus styles. The Avalon down jacket and Yosemite shell jacket both use recycled polyester in their outer fabric, the Westlake hybrid has a padded front made from recycled fabric, and the Danbury pique tee is 95% organic combed cotton. Material details for each style are listed on its product page, and our team can help shortlist the lower-impact options for your program.

Nimbus FAQs

+ Can I get Nimbus jackets and polos with my logo?

Yes. Supply Crew supplies Nimbus jackets, polos, shirts and knitwear custom branded with your logo. Embroidery on the chest is the usual treatment for this kind of premium corporate wear, and our team will recommend the best method, size and placement for each garment and fabric.

+ What Nimbus products does Supply Crew offer?

Supply Crew stocks over 120 Nimbus styles: down, padded, softshell, shell and hybrid jackets, vests, polos, pique tees, oxford and business shirts, fine-gauge knitwear and cardigans, and hoodies and sweatshirts. Almost every style comes in matched men's and women's cuts.

+ What is the Nimbus Harvard polo?

The Harvard is Nimbus's signature polo: a stretch-blend polo with a tailored fit, available with a classic buttoned placket or an elegant v-neck, in men's and women's cuts. It is designed to be worn in more well-dressed settings than a standard polo, which makes it a popular choice for client-facing teams.

+ Which Nimbus jacket should I choose?

It depends on the conditions. The Avalon down jacket, with 650+ fill power duck down, is the warmest option for winter. The Yosemite shell is waterproof, windproof and breathable for wet weather, and the Westlake hybrid combines a padded front with stretch sleeves and back for cross-seasonal wear. Softshells and vests suit milder Australian conditions and layering over a polo or shirt.

+ Do Nimbus shirts come in different fits?

Yes. Men's shirts such as the Rochester oxford, Portland and Torrance come in both modern and slim fits, with matching women's versions, so a whole team can wear the same shirt in the cut that suits them.

+ Are there eco-friendly Nimbus options?

Yes. The Avalon down jacket and Yosemite shell jacket use recycled polyester in their outer fabric, the Westlake hybrid has a padded front made from recycled fabric, and the Danbury pique tee is 95% organic combed cotton.

+ How much do custom Nimbus jackets cost?

Pricing depends on the styles you choose, the quantity per style, the branding method, and the number of logo positions and colours. Supply Crew prices every order individually, so the quickest way to an accurate figure is to submit a quote request with your styles, quantities and branding requirements.

+ Can I see an artwork proof before production?

Yes — twice over. You can Design & Create your own mockup instantly on any product page to see your logo on the product before you even request a quote. Then, once your order is confirmed, Supply Crew provides a detailed artwork proof for your approval — placement, size and finish — before production begins.

+ What is the minimum order quantity for custom Nimbus apparel?

Nimbus styles in the Supply Crew range carry a minimum order quantity of 25 units per style. The exact minimum order quantity is confirmed on each individual product page.

+ How long do custom Nimbus orders take to produce and deliver?

Custom Nimbus orders typically take 2–4 weeks for production and delivery, depending on the styles selected, the branding method and order volume. Our team will confirm an exact turnaround estimate once your order and artwork are finalised, so you can plan around your rollout or event date.
