About Patagonia
Patagonia was founded in Ventura, California in 1973 by climber Yvon Chouinard, and has spent five decades making the environment the point rather than the marketing. The company is a Certified B Corporation, a founding member of 1% for the Planet — committing one percent of sales to environmental causes — and runs Worn Wear, a repair and resale program built on the premise that the most sustainable jacket is the one already made. In 2022 Chouinard transferred ownership of the company to a purpose trust and an environmental collective, so that profits not reinvested in the business fund climate work; as Patagonia put it, Earth is now its only shareholder. Very few brands in any category can make that claim, which is exactly why it carries weight on a staff jacket.
Custom Patagonia Insulated Jackets at Supply Crew
Supply Crew stocks the Men's Nano Puff Jacket in black — one style, and arguably the most recognisable insulated jacket in the outdoor category. It's warm, windproof and water-resistant, using 60-gram PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Eco, a lightweight and highly compressible insulation made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester and produced with P.U.R.E. technology, which cuts manufacturing emissions. Compressible enough to stuff into a bag and warm enough for a genuine Australian winter, it works as an everyday layer rather than a specialist piece — which is precisely why it became the default jacket in offices, on site visits and at conferences.
Patagonia Sustainability
Most apparel sustainability claims sit at the fabric level. Patagonia's run through the whole business: recycled insulation and shell fabrics, Fair Trade Certified sewing on much of the range, the 1% for the Planet commitment, the Worn Wear repair and resale program, and an ownership structure that directs profit to environmental work. The company is also unusually candid about the tension in its own position — it has spent years arguing that the greenest garment is the one you don't buy, and that the lifespan of a piece matters more than the material it started as. For an organisation choosing outerwear for its people, that philosophy is the product: a jacket built to be worn for a decade and repaired rather than replaced.

Patagonia FAQs
+ Can I get Patagonia jackets with my logo?
Patagonia manages co-branding more tightly than most brands, and approval is required — so start by talking to the Supply Crew team about your project. The brand's position is driven by garment lifespan: it believes a prominent corporate logo shortens how long a jacket stays in use, so where co-branding is approved it is generally limited in placement. Our team will confirm exactly what's available for your organisation before you commit.
+ What Patagonia products does Supply Crew offer?
Supply Crew stocks the Patagonia Men's Nano Puff Jacket in black. If you need other Patagonia styles, colours or women's fits for a program, talk to our team about what can be sourced.
+ What is PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Eco?
PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Eco is a high-performance synthetic insulation made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester. The Nano Puff uses the 60-gram weight, which is light and highly compressible while still holding warmth — and unlike down, synthetic insulation keeps insulating when it gets damp, which matters in an Australian winter far more than an alpine one.
+ What does P.U.R.E. technology mean?
P.U.R.E. stands for Produced Using Reduced Emissions — a manufacturing process for PrimaLoft insulation that substantially cuts the carbon emissions created in making the material. It's a rare example of a sustainability claim about how something is made rather than just what it's made from, and it applies to the insulation inside the Nano Puff.
+ Is the Nano Puff waterproof?
No — the Nano Puff is windproof and water-resistant rather than waterproof. It will shrug off light rain and drizzle comfortably, but it isn't built for sustained downpours, and it isn't a substitute for a rain shell. For most corporate use — commutes, site visits, conferences, weekends — water-resistant is exactly the right specification.
+ Why is Patagonia considered a sustainable brand?
Patagonia is a Certified B Corporation and a founding member of 1% for the Planet, giving one percent of sales to environmental causes. It runs the Worn Wear repair and resale program to keep garments in use, uses recycled and Fair Trade Certified materials extensively, and in 2022 restructured its ownership so that profits fund environmental work rather than shareholders. The commitments are structural rather than campaign-based, which is what distinguishes them.
+ Can I see an artwork proof before production?
Yes — twice over. You can Design & Create your own mockup instantly on any product page to see your logo on the product before you even request a quote. Then, once your order is confirmed, Supply Crew provides a detailed artwork proof for your approval — placement, size and finish — before production begins.
+ What is the minimum order quantity for Patagonia jackets?
The Patagonia Men's Nano Puff Jacket carries a minimum order quantity of 50 units. The exact minimum order quantity is confirmed on the product page.
+ How long do Patagonia orders take to produce and deliver?
Patagonia orders typically take 2–4 weeks for production and delivery, depending on stock availability, any approved branding and order volume. Because co-branding approval can add time at the front of the process, it's worth starting well ahead of a winter rollout or conference date.
